Hendrikka Waage
Hendrikka Waage was born in Iceland, is internationally educated and is, first and foremost, an entrepreneur with a love of art and all things beautiful. She has an extensive international background and has travelled extensively across all continents, giving her a very valuable insight into overseas markets and culture.
She is a renowned jewellery designer and the first Icelandic international one, with her collections which consists of elegant, striking and fashionable jewellery at affordable prices, being sold worldwide. She also takes on commissions for one off, high end pieces for private individuals and organisations.
Additionally, she has been invited to be a keynote speaker to business audiences on her experiences in running businesses as well as in presenting to investors to secure funding for start-ups.
Having lived and worked in several countries including India, Japan, Russia and the USA, she now lives in London and spends considerable time on charitable causes and in promoting the preservation of the environment, a cause very close to her heart.
She is one of the founders of the Kids Parliament, a charity headquartered in Vienna, Austria whose aims are to build a Mega Community for children providing a sustainable and programmatic solutions, by involving governments, private and public sectors in providing free services and best practices in the fields of human rights, equal opportunity, protection of the environment and personal development.
